Overview

The Gravity Forms Integration automatically converts Gravity Forms submissions into SupportCandy tickets.
This integration helps you manage form submissions as tickets and handle customer requests from SupportCandy.

Requirements

Before configuring the integration, make sure the following requirements are met:

  • Gravity Forms — Install the Gravity Forms plugin. Gravity Forms is a third-party plugin and requires a paid license.
  • SupportCandy Premium Plan — Use a SupportCandy premium plan that includes the Gravity Forms Integration add-on.
How It Works

The integration connects Gravity Forms with SupportCandy and creates a ticket when a form is submitted.
You can create multiple Gravity Forms for different business needs. For example, you can create separate forms for sales inquiries, technical support, and customer feedback.
The form fields can be mapped to SupportCandy ticket fields. This allows submitted information to be stored in the appropriate ticket fields.

Steps to Set Up the Integration

1. Create Gravity Forms
Create the required forms in Gravity Forms based on your business needs.
You can create separate forms for different types of requests, such as:

  • Sales inquiries
  • Technical support requests
  • Customer feedback

 

2. Create SupportCandy Custom Fields
Create SupportCandy custom fields that match the information collected by your Gravity Forms.
Go to: Support → Custom Fields → Ticket Fields
Create the required ticket fields for the form data.

3. Map Gravity Forms Fields
Map each Gravity Forms field to the corresponding SupportCandy ticket field.
For example, map a Customer Name field in Gravity Forms to the appropriate Name field in SupportCandy.
Make sure the field types and mapped information match your form requirements.

4. Submit the Gravity Form
When a customer submits a configured Gravity Form, SupportCandy automatically creates a ticket.
The mapped form information is added to the corresponding ticket fields.

Overview

The Gravity Forms Integration allows you to create SupportCandy tickets from Gravity Forms submissions.
Create a mapping to connect Gravity Forms fields with the corresponding SupportCandy ticket fields. When a customer submits the mapped form, SupportCandy automatically creates a new ticket using the mapped field values.

Where to Find

Go to Support → Settings → Gravity Forms.

Add a New Mapping
  1. Create the required form in Gravity Forms.
  2. Go to Support → Settings → Gravity Forms.
  3. Click Add Mapping.
  4. Select the Gravity Form you want to connect.
  5. Map the Gravity Forms fields to the corresponding SupportCandy fields.
  6. Save the mapping.

After saving the mapping, submissions from the selected Gravity Form can create SupportCandy tickets automatically.

How It Works

When a customer submits a mapped Gravity Form, SupportCandy creates a new ticket.
The ticket fields are populated using the values received from the Gravity Form according to the configured mapping.
For example, you can map a Gravity Forms Name field to the SupportCandy Customer Name field.
