Where to Find
Go to Support → Custom Fields → Usergroup Fields to create and manage custom fields related to Usergroups.
Usergroup fields store additional information about a Usergroup. For example, if a Usergroup represents an organization, you can create fields such as Location, Employee Count, or Revenue.
The fields can be displayed in the Usergroup Fields widget on an individual Ticket page, depending on the widget visibility settings for Agents and Customers.
Create a new Usergroup field
Go to Support → Custom Fields → Usergroup Fields → Add New to create a new Usergroup field.
Label
Enter the name of the Usergroup field.
Load after
Set the position of the field by selecting the field after which it should be displayed.
Field Type
Select the type of field you want to create.
Extra info
Enter additional information about the field. This information is displayed when the field is used in the Usergroup form.
Character limit
Set the maximum number of characters that can be entered in the field.
Placeholder
Enter the placeholder text displayed in the field when no value has been entered.
Date Range
Select the dates that can be selected for the field. Available options include Future, Past, All, or Between.
Date format
Set the format used to display the date and time. For example, Y-m-d H:i. PHP provides different date and time format characters that can be used to define the format.
If no date format is provided, the default date format configured in General settings is used.
Usergroup Fields in the usergroup widget
After creating a Usergroup and populating its Usergroup fields, the field values can be displayed in the Usergroup Fields widget on the individual Ticket page.
The visibility of the widget depends on the configured visibility settings for Agents and Customers.
